Banks

Most banks are open daily from 9am-12 noon and from 2pm-4pm, except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Some branches in larger cities may be open later as well as on Saturday mornings.

A large number of banks also have self-banking facilities with ATMs that are open between 6am and 10pm. You can find these at Bancontact cash dispensers and Self Banking branches. Most equally work with Banksys, Maestro and credit card.

Post offices

Most post offices are open daily from 9am-12 noon and from 2pm-5pm. In the cities, some are also open on Saturday from 9am-12.30pm.

Shop hours

Most shops are open Monday to Saturday from 9am or 10am to 6pm for most non-food businesses. Supermarkets are usually open from 8am-7/8pm (Mon-Sat). Sunday is the weekly closing day for the commercial sector.
